According to the FDA health care associated infections resulting from insufficiently cleaned medical instruments are a public health concern, however disposable medical tools are reported to reduce the risk of cross contamination from client to client. Reusable tools must be processed and sterilized, increasing the risk of error and exposure to clients and employees. When tools are only used once there is no risk! We want the best for our clients, but we know that sustainability is also a big concern, so we are happy to report that disposable medical tools make for a happier planet! The water, electricity and detergent steam that is emitted from autoclaves is significantly more detrimental for our planet, while disposable instruments are properly and safely recycled along with medical waste.
